They won't be able to just add a bridge without moving the location of the AE terminal, it is a good distance from T4 (it is east of T8, a good distance from T4).

How strong of a different it will make is hard to say, being that unless you are a AS elite member, but are an elite member of AA, it's not easy to casually switch.
