In-seat use of dental floss (Row 1)

This weekend, on a transcon, I was enjoying the FC food (okay, it's not that great, but better than nothing), when I saw the woman in a Row 1 aisle seat finish her dinner, and take out a length of dental floss. She spent about 5 minutes flossing her teeth while sitting in plain view of the rest of the FC cabin. The flight attendants were otherwise occupied, but when one appeared, Ms. Dental Hygiene quickly popped the used floss into her pants pocket!

I only hope that she didn't spray the particles anywhere but on her clothing, as I doubt that the armrests get wiped down that often. On the other hand, probably better to floss in her seat than to floss in the lavatory, and spray the particles all over the faucet handles and soap dispenser where more people would be exposed to them before they dry out?
