I've stayed at both the FS LGA and the new Springhill Suites LGA in the last 6 months. I don't recall any restaurants around the FS, but the lounge offerings weren't bad. Not sure if there are restaurants within walking distance of the SHS but the driver was quite nice, and chatty. He said that there were restaurants in the area and that he could drop-off/pick-up from them. There was also an Italian restaurant offering free samples in the lobby which were good, and they said they would deliver to the hotel.
