Last time I was exposed to this feature, it seemed that you may or may not be upgraded prior to the 24- hour list, at which point, one was not on the list and had virtually no chance of upgrade. Ms Trash was not upgraded Sunday or Monday on flights that looked like she should have been upgraded after all paid 1K pax. She sat there yesterday on a plane with people being pulled forward after boarding. She wasn't upgraded prior to 24 hours and she was not on airport list. She asked agent why she wasn't on list and got the usual ignorant answer - "Award tickets are not eligible for upgrade". Has UA Insider said anything anywhere about this continuing problem?

As one who complains less than others, this is one problem that REALLY annoys me (and now Ms 1K Trash).
