will remeber to safe the LOT hotline. I'm in Poland quite often this year so it might come in handy. LH, LX, OS, SK are already in my phone - that's 85% of all carriers I use but I always missed LOT.
I do not think an LO number would have helped, unless you were willing to cancel your SK flight, get it refunded and buy an LO ticket. I sometimes do these kinds of things. And then it is nice to be fast, before SK buys all the LO seats for their stranded passengers (and vice versa when flying an LO cancelled flight, and trying to jump on LH or SK).
