Several reasons why it is relevant here:

a) it is on CBC - CANADA's national public television tonight

b) the crash happened (in) Canada, in the waters off of Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia, CANADA and the wreckage is being assessed in Halifax, CANADA

c) the official report has been concluded by the transportation safety board of CANADA.

d) many people out in Nova Scotia, CANADA were deeply affected by this. For you in the Bay Area, this would be the equivalent of an MD-11 crashing into Half Moon Bay, or off Montara Beach with all loss of life. Think about it.

e) There is no Swissair forum on FlyerTalk, so I posted it at the board at the top of the list of airlines: "AIR CANADA"
