Got a short but polite excuse in Dänish and was asked to give them my account for sending me the 250€ according to EU261 regulation.
A week turnaround is acceptable but it could be done better.

will remeber to safe the LOT hotline. I'm in Poland quite often this year so it might come in handy. LH, LX, OS, SK are already in my phone - that's 85% of all carriers I use but I always missed LOT.
