I kept meaning to highlight this - it's big news really. As of about a week ago there is on South Security a segregated Fast Track, which has been walled off from the rest of security, on the CCR door side. They can feed 2 channels inside the walled off area, and a flexible number of channels outside of it. So yes, Fast Track South is getting faster, and though I didn't see anything there today there are plans for North too. I am speculating here, but I think this in response to written feedback from passengers as well as BA's regular moaning sessions with Heathrow Airport Ltd.
