I flew the Dreamliner back in December, shortly before they grounded the fleet. Flew it EWR-IAH-SFO in Business, 1L on the first flight, 4A on the 2nd flight. It was an AMAZING experience on my EWR-IAH segment, being able to take pictures of the cabin in general daylight. But on my 2nd segment, it was just a regular airplane again, maybe because it didn't look all that great in the dark and it didn't have the "newness" to it anymore. There was a 777 running IAH-LAX next to my Dreamliner gate at Houston, I was debating going over and switching to that, and in hindsight, I should have in order to get home earlier.

I think my first long-haul on the plane will still get me excited
