So that is something else in AF's favour then: access to fast lanes (where they exist) for elites. If I want the same privilege on U2 I would need to buy a flex fare - which I assume kills the price advantage completely? - or buy an option, which also negatively impacts the total cost advantage for U2. (EDIT: however it seems that with the exception of CDG there are either no fast lanes at French airports for domestic flights or they don't work well like at ORY. So it's an almost non-existing advantage on AF for domestic flights)

So as an elite with AF you still have some advantages when flying on MiNi. The only irony is that when flying on MiNi fares you cannot earn that elite status.
