GLA-LHR-SFO-LHR-GLA in March/April 2001

Vividly remember the southbound shuttle since it was 90 minutes late which almost scuppered our connection! There was an all day deli bag (remember when that seemed bad?) and I'm sure there was Irn-Bru onboard (in fact I recall the cabin crew saying that they only served Irn-Bru on domestic runs). Also remember the longhaul (World Traveller, 747) since I was far too excited to sleep (I was 9 at the time). The moving map fascinated me (as it continues to today). I also remember thinking that this must be a 'big plane' since the seatbelt sign was above the aisle.
Curiously I remember more of those two flights than my 3 weeks in California... I think I know why I'm a flyertalk nerd.
