I for my part have never tried to settle that in the WAW lounge, but over the LO hotline, typing #6 for *G works usually.
I have all the hotline no's of the relevant carriers in my cell phone@:-)

I believe that it makes sense to complain in situations like that. For me this is not about compensation, but about giving feedback to the airline about their service and your satisfaction level.

That's a "gutsy" move, I don't know if I am able to pull that off, never tried so far, but good to remember, speaking about SK and the inherent lack of a general 24/7 *G hotline...
