Agreed. If you want to load on the points go for AMEX Platinum because its accepted at most places (at least in Israel and the US) but consider that's it's quite a bit more expensive at $26 per month. That said the AMEX Platinum does give presents during the year before holidays (high holidays and passover) and for your birthday (and the other card holder's) which have an estimated retail value of about 600 shekels annually - cakes, chocolates, books, etc.
