From what I can see on BA source, the last time a non-avod plane flew the DXB rotation was around the 15th.
I was on a 747 recently though and all have avod. However, "my screen" was on the loop system until I pointed it out to a crew member and she got it reset for me. Then it reverted to avod ....
It was the 20th January on the 10am-ish flight. My husband and I both had the same thing and I am pretty sure the crew talked about starting the films so don't think it was us being dense (but I'm not ruling it out!!)
Doesn't matter really, just asking out of curiosity but we were both surprised as we've not even seen that in Y for years, our more usual seat.
