From SEA to LHR, the two viable one-way award options for Winter 2014 are BA direct (Flight 48 or 52) or AA connecting through LAX or DFW or JFK (777-300 ER options only).

I hate the idea of a $460 surcharge on BA, but am I going to be kicking myself for adding 5 hours onto a trip for subpar soft product if I choose AA? I am flying with my spouse, so the privacy of AA reverse herringbone pattern is a negative.
