I'm looking to use my award miles to get me a one way ticket from DTW to SFO. When I search for an award ticket on delta all of the deals seem pretty horrible. At best it's 10000miles/100$. With united airlines I usually can get deals around the 10000miles/200$ range. Any recommendations on how best to get the most value out of delta miles?
