Just as a footnote - I interlined between BA and Jet Airways at Heathrow going T5 to T4. I did not have the Jet Airways boarding pass as they could not issue it at Glasgow. In order to use the airside connection, I was informed that you must either have an onward boarding pass or a printed copy of your itinerary.

I will have a copy of our itinerary with me, so I understand that it shouldn't be a problem, at least when connecting from T1 to T5 (where the ticketing desk is before security). Does it also apply when connecting from T5 to T1 (where the ticketing desk is airside)?
