I got approved for it a couple of weeks ago by calling their call center. However, I've held a CAL Diner's Platinum card for over 3 years now, so I did have a history with the company.

There are 2 tiers: one is "International" and the other "Platinum." They have the same 12.90 NIS monthly fee and all the same benefits except for one thing: International earns 1 EL Al point per 500 NIS spending and Platinum 1 point per 300 NIS spending. Push for the Platinum.

Another interesting thing: you can add the High Miles program to existing Diner's Platinum cards that are in other clubs (but not all clubs). If you can read Hebrew, it's all mentioned on their site. I was able to do this so now I have 1 really great card in 2 decent clubs with tons of benefits.
