I agree BA won't take a direct revenue hit from passengers switching from BA to AA however if AA planes start to leave fully loaded with paying premium passengers whilst BA planes have many empty seats in premium cabins it will of course cause "internal tensions" within the joint venture business which will increase pressure for positive change.
Yes, you are right on that point.
Just was not sure people understood how the joint agreement works and how completely linked the three airlines are when it comes to profit on the transatlantic routes.
