But I am glad that it's fixed to all key players' satisfaction (especially the insurers' and reinsurers', the customers' best friends in this instance). And to all the defenders from Seattle and Houston who are feeling like they "won" this thread's debate: We all do, of course. And, speaking for myself, I've always known what the outcome would be. It's an economic imperative. Just that some, who aren't as close to Boeing and United, weren't as comfortable that the economic imperative wouldn't overwhelm "zero" risk ...as it has appeared to w/r/t some aspects (e.g., outsourcing) of the 787 story.
