Hi,
I'm relatively new to the Israeli credit card flight points/miles scene. While I don't usually fly El Al, I'm kind of kicking myself for not checking into this years ago. I was under the impression that ALL El Al points expire after 36 months, however I just found out that partner points don't expire at all (please correct me if I'm mistaken).
I just got the Diners High Miles Platinum card, so it looks like I have the best Israeli card for El Al points.
Are there any other ways to maximize earnings? Are there any US-style methods, like paying your mortgage on the card instead of horat keva?
My goal isn't for free flights, but more for free upgrades and perks here and there on European flights, which seems reachable even with a 300NIS-1point ratio and no expiration date.
Does anyone have any other tips in general?
