Assuming flights to/from one airport or the other weren't terribly inconvenient - and ticket prices were similar - I'd probably pick on the basis of airline/frequent flyer/credit card program(s). The trip will probably go over 15k miles. And you can get various bonuses (like free checked bags) if you buy your tickets with various cards. Plus he'll probably be interested in getting a credit card with no FOREX fees (as well as one that can be used in ATM machines). Robyn
