I just finished a stay here. Great location, easy access to the light rail, and friendly staff. No upgrade, but I think they may have been full. I got one of the interior rooms with a view into the restarurant / bar area which was a bit odd, and there is no coffee maker in the room (I needed to get up early one morning, so the lounge / restaurant wasn't an option), but overall it was a great stay.
