I helped a friend book a mileage seat in GF on Europe to US flight in Oct. 2012. She went to first class lounge and upon heading to gate, was told they gave away her seat...no explanation. She was switched to a business class seat, supervisor came on and offered her $1000 voucher in exchange for not suing
