i have always believe it to be tuesday to be the big sales date due to matching of jet blue and southwest and others, and if you subscribe to their emails, you will notice alot of emails on tuesday's, but of coarse any sales can happen any day of the week, except sunday's, I have never remember any thing happening on that day
