I have a TravelCard - it wasn't bought from Marriott directly, but from a grocery store - that I plan to use to pay for part of a weekend stay. T+C's - obviously which I didn't see until after because it didn't even occur to me that such a condition would be listed, specifies Marriott Rewards points can't be earned with use of the card.
Can anyone confirm from recent experience whether this is actually the case? I'm pretty sure that I used a similar card last year (that I redeemed using Chase Ultimate Rewards, IIRC, and obviously no longer have that card to see the T+Cs) am pretty sure I got points for the full amount of the stay.
If there truly are no points, anyone know if nights would at least count? And if switching to earn miles to a partner instead would earn anything?
you earn full points when you pay with Travel Cards
Thanks. That's what I was hoping to hear.
