Free luggage carts to International travellers at LAX?
I was trying to find out how much luggage carts were at LAX when I came across an article that said visiting international travellers at LAX could get luggage carts for free. My wife and our 3 kids will be going to LAX next Wednesday morning, leaving on Southwest Airlines and arriving at Terminal 1. They all have Thai passports. They leave in the afternoon from Tom Bradley International Terminal on Malaysia Airlines. They will be taking one large suitcase a piece and one carry on. Its only a 15 minute walk from the baggage claims area of Terminal 1 to TBIT, but they would need at least 3 carts to do it. Who would they ask at the airport to get the free carts? Would they go get their bags in baggage claim at Terminal 1 and then find an airport customer relations person to inquire about the free carts? I'll give them enough money to rent the carts but I would rather they put the money to partially pay for their lunch at LAX. Thanks in advance.
