You're looking at 1h 50 from BRU connecting through Brussels Midi station and cost is around 100-130 EU for a last minute booking. There truly aren't many good options by air if you miss your connection. You'd be connecting through somewhere else to get to Paris, then add your transfer into the city, etc. Lots of time over just hopping on the train.
