There is a reason why it is not offered to AMEX Platinum USA - too many people are cardmembers.

Beside, AA, a AMEX Platinum USA lounge partner, will be pissed

It is not difficult for you to get a AMEX Platinum Canada if you have AMEX Platinum USA - Global Transfer.
