I was last in Chicago (and by extension the Waldorf/Elysian) last fall but it's by far one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in, comparing favorably to MO, Bardessono, Setai Fifth, etc. I can't see that it doesn't rank at or near the top of the list.
