I have an upcoming trip to Houston for work.

Right now, in July, united.com is showing 787s both directions (LAX/IAH).

What's the likelihood of the birds staying on this route?

A short 1379 miles seems like a waste for these planes. Naturally, I assume UAL is "breaking them in a bit".

I know it's a crap shot to book them but I'm curious what folks think.

My guess is book 'em and hope they stay. Haven't flow one yet.
