I was at a Wal-mart in Orange County, California today and the register employee needed help (new at job) with the load process, so he called over someone else. I didn't have any problem completing the load, but when I requested debit the "senior" employee gave me a friendly warning that she was "pretty sure" it would be cash only soon. Not trying to alarm anybody, as it could just be typical employee ignorance/speculation, but thought I would mention it here.
