I think your biggest chance is to complain to SK about bad handling, given that you are EBG. Full compensation is unlikely but they might throw in something to comfort you. I believe that it makes sense to complain in situations like that. For me this is not about compensation, but about giving feedback to the airline about their service and your satisfaction level.

I've been in a somewhat similar situation in WAW a few month ago, and I agree that SK handling of irregularities is ridiculous, with 1-2 agents handling a large flight. It would be much better if they entered an agreement with *A partners and have a larger handling desk.

There is one trick, though, that you may be able to use in future: when I have seen the queue, and the lack of priority handling for EBG, I took all the psycho-energy it takes, and passed by the queue. I went directly to the counter and said that I am EBG and ... they served me out of order. It was crucial to get out of the deadlock quickly. It is not so much about how many hours you queue, but that all people in front of you take valuable seats on flights that you might need, and the valuable connections depart while you wait. The agent was very willing to rebook me on other *A connections, even indirect routings etc. So I guess, that if you succeded the same way you could have reached to OSL with LH, or something like that.
