Personally, I'd go with ANA if it's available. It's simply a better experience. To me, it's worth anywhere up to ~1/3 the price of the AA ticket. As for getting in late, it shouldn't be a problem as you'll have options across train, limo buses, and taxis.

Depending on where you're staying, you can arrange the in-house hotel limo for ~$150 for just that sort of event - and I only mention that because if you're turning down the airport hotels for something within the 23 wards (that isn't the same as the airport hotels) then you're looking at something that offers that service if you ask.
