Having flown both NH First and AA First to NRT, I would give my preference to NH First for the soft product. NH serves Krug and caviar during the main meal service. As for the hard product, I think AA First is very competitive. I feel the AA FAs working the TPAC routes tend to provide better service than those working the TATL routes, but it really depends on the crew that you get.
Enjoy your honeymoon to Tokyo!
Appreciate the cost saving tip, but saving a couple hundred bucks to stay in an airport hotel is not exactly what i'm looking to do on my honeymoon.
Right now there are 5 seats in F still on the NH flight (which leaves 50 minutes earlier that night than the AA flight we're booked on).
If it opens up, i'll jump on it (the thought of caviar and Krug really has excited).
If not, i'm sure the AA experience will be just fine, and it will be nice to get into HND as opposed to NRT that night.
