LAX-SFO usually arrives into T3, from there its apx 10 min with moving sidewalks at times to the G gates, no need to exit landside nor go thru TSA again.

That said OP I would try to jump on an earlier flight if at all possible, all too often when SFO gets hit with ATC backups the SoCal flights are held at their airports. So under perfect conditions Id do a 50 min layover w/o worry, but SFO is far from being perfect day to day
