Changing terminals at SFO via their AirTrain takes time, and you have to go through security again at the In'tl Terminal. To me it sounds like a 1/3 shot. If your LAX-SFO flight takes off on time and you get to the gate a few mins early, I'd say things could work. I'd look into getting on an earlier LAX>SFO flight. Choices are aplenty.
