If you read the OP closely it seems he booked a paid DF night for his boss.

I remember something that as long as any room (even a PenthouseSuite) is available for pts even if 1,000,000 for 1 night theres no DFing. I found a hotel I wanted for next week, no special event , that is soldout and DD said they can only get me a room at rack but not using my pts.
