Not sure why you believe you should be entitled to something that isn't publically listed on the main BA website. The BA traveltrade pdf you linked is not referenced anymore, and that website also shows the same information as BA.com

That is not to say that all status benefits are listed on the BA website, fast track security, immigration, etc at airports may list criteria that may include or exclude BA Silver, Gold, or OW Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, etc.
Did the fast track security line you used display that it was available to BA Silver, or was it made known to you by BA staff that you could use it? I had thought that BA had not paid BAA for fast track security entitlement at T1.
