Just a quick question . Flying from sin - Mel in August in J. I couldn't get the 6a b , etc the agent told me they are blocked until the gate at check in . I'm wondering if I check in online will they release those seats . If not I'm in 8a b 10a b . It's also confusing to me is that on seat guru the seat map is showing me a angled business class seat with a 42" pitch . But the agent confirms the seat is a lie-flat seat with a 72" pitch . That's a huge difference . Has anyone flown this routing can confirm the seat map and which seats would be recommended for a family of (4) two adults and children aged 5 and 3 .
