There have been some cheapish XXX-SGN tix recently and the onward K6 flight is also reasonably priced. This particular routing is one of the cheaper ways to get to REP these days.
Also AA is my airline of choice, and I was able to book a good price on AA/JAL to SGN and then a cheap K6 to REP. I could have saved a few bucks to fly another routing, but then wouldn't have been able to upgrade the transpac legs on AA using my system wide upgrades.
