No idea the "tracking" was mostly done manually - that's kind of amazing/nuts depending on how you look at it.
I just got an email from Autoslash this morning with a rate drop of $30 on an upcoming reservation with Budget/Avis.
Re some of the other comments here - in my view:
-Autoslash is a free service, so no reason not to submit your reservations, whether they find anything better for you or not.
-It's not the only tool I rely on for car rental deals, but rather is one of several.
-I agree it would have been nice for them to keep us better updated on the problems with tracking
All in all I will still continue to use them as one of my tools to find good deals on car rentals.
