Did I manage to rig the DL upgrade list online??
Yesterday I was on the 19:10 ATL-BOS Checking in at around 14:00 I was 7 on the UG list for 3 FC seats, and as a PM my chances of getting upgraded were next to 0 anyway.
At 16:30 I get a notification on my phone that my flight was delayed and that there were no alternate routes available.
I log on to delta.com to check how long will the delay be (20:00 instead of 19:10 the phone wasn’t showing the new departure time) . The website, unlike the phone, was offering me an alternate flight. So I selected it, and it was just the same flight as the original flight listed with the departure time. Which I assumed was a bug.
But now it had me in first class.

Did I unexpectedly move all the way up the UG list (In 2 years of flying ATL-BOS, that has never happened to me, I only go further and further down the list until by departure time I am in 15 to 25), or did I accidentally take advantage of the bug that had me re-booked on the same flight I was already checked in on?!?
