Reasons being: 2 CC apps in 2013, 7 CC apps in 2012, and a total available credit limit over 2x my annual income. Lady was extremely nice and polite, but just shut me down, even when I offered to close and move credit from my WN card.
That was my last CC app until my mortgage (home purchase likely 12-18 months out).

Try calling again. I had 8 CC apps in 2012 and 3 more in 2013 when I applied for the Ink plus. My total credit limit is close to 2.5x my income and I was still approved for a line of $11,000
