You may be able to find J availability trans-Pacific. But the Aeroplan.com website often won't show those, since it preferentially choose routes with higher scamcharges. (TPAC are usually much lower then TATL.) You'll have to find a route that works, then book through the call centre.
Good to know it's theoretically possible to find reward tickets going TPAC. Thanks for the tip about booking via the call centre once I find flights!
