I was suggesting that w. Sharon's consent that her master list of properties have the resorts indicated by say an "R" next to the hotels name thereby designating the prop as a resort, whether it has the term resort or not (in a similar manner that Internet info was added) as I for one always refer to her master list for lounge info I could also get info on whether it was or was not a resort........
for those props that are designated resorts, then a further designation should be added that even though so designated that they still offer brekkie to G/Ps.......

I stayed at the JW Grande Lakes a couple of years ago and was taken completely by surprise when I learned that it's a "resort." If Marriott is going to provide fewer amenities to elite travelers staying at resorts, then at least they could make it easier to discover which hotels fall into that category. Like by putting "resort" in their names!
The refusal to credit Marriott Rewards points on resort fees is absolutely senseless and unjustifiable on any grounds that I can imagine. There is another whole thread on that unpleasant subject.
