Of note: US flies 321s transcon, and is getting rid of 762s.
I have flown the US 321 JFK - PHX. While the seating will be different on AA's transcons, it is a nice plane to fly long distance domestic. I wouldn't t mind seeing these (US version) on LGA-DFW route. Not sure if this aircraft can go in and out of LGA though.
Back on topic. The wide bodies (762) are nice for the longer coast to coasts, but I think the 321s will be fine. And VERY much needed. Flying more frequently with more premium seats is a better way of branding the JFK-LAX/SFO routes.
