regarding your comment #2, at least the secret resorts (those that don't use the term resort in their title) can actually be found to be classified as resorts even if you have to look them up:

then there are the properties that are classified as resorts, but still provide breakfast (for example, most asian props) and a few even have lounges (for example, Pattaya)........
