321 Transcon

I will miss the wide body trans cons. It is time for the 762 to hit the pasture. Last year there was a pile of delays with the old birds. I got delayed too many times. Did a few flights on UA's 757 but UA has cut the F staffing to one person from two and is not as good as AA's at least on SFO-LAX. ( Even VX had a better product than UA).
I hope the 321 1-1 seating in F and new product will make up for the smaller aircraft. As for Parker I do not trust him to do anything positive for AA. His stunt with the AA Unions was an effective way to get the always obstinate AA pilot primadonas to help him steal an airline. I think the hangover after the party will be a duezzie. Time will tell, I hope I am very wrong about Parker, because I still like to fly AA, I hope the merger goes ok but I have low expectations , there are still many unhappy campers at US air and too many unsolved issues with the first merger. I think folks at AA will Miss Horton. He was tying to make it work. Parker is just like many CEO's : If I cannot fix it, throw it all up in the, grab the money and run. In this case he can blame "integration issues" for his screw ups: Parker out in 4-5 years with big bucks farewell get out of town bonus. Where is McCarty when we need him?
