Any recent experiences with boat tours to the lava fields? We are visiting VNP in August. We will have our 2 young kids (5 & 7) so the hike is not really an option. I understand the ride is rough but we have done similar trips before in Iguazu. I was thinking of a dusk tour rather than sunrise to avoid getting up at 330.
